I am thrilled to see the England cricket team made it home safely, after being caught up in the terror attacks in Mumbai. They were expected to stay on in Mumbai for another month or so, but it’s obviously safer at home. England is due to play two tests on December 11th and December 19th. One match was due to take place in Mumbai but it’s now going to be moved to a different location for safety reasons. I hope what happened in Mumbai won’t affect their play and I’m pleased they got home safely.

When I first set up my home I had a portable TV, it was so old that it didn’t even have a fitting for a scar lead. I dreamed of having a widescreen TV. I then had big bulky silver one and it just took up way to much room. Then the LCD plasma screen TVs came out and I’d seen the inside of a TV and thought “How on earth do they fit all those bits and bobs in there?” Thing is they are getting thinner and thinner, it’s great. I waited until they were all the range and bought one myself.
